Distribution - Western Atlantic Coast

Description –  Dark red colour with curved claws, adapted to eat algae. Size up to 3-4 cm.

 Behaviour –  Friendly species and reef safe.

 Temperature – Cultured specimens have high temperature tolerance and are suitable for any aquarium, from 30 ºC down to 20 ºC. The ideal temperature profile is from 25 ºC to 28 ºC.

 Feeding – Omivorous species but preferential algae eater ( eats bubble algae).
